Monuments
What was once a career in sculpting small figurines of the Shakespearean genre has grown to a substantial responsibility to create a commissioned monument for the International Gateway at Lake Tahoe. And with that responsibility is a new respect for the emotional attachment that comes with the creativity at hand; from a lump of clay a brand new life-sized animal comes to existence for this Public Art Project in Incline Village, Nevada. Who would have thought that my education at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy would have lead to this honor and responsibility? I am electrified by my new niche to create custom, commissioned art for communities as well as private estates and resorts throughout the country.
