June Towill Brown tells a story through her bronze sculptures that make them special treasures that will last through the generations. June creates her sculptures in series of three to tell her story and create a circle of life.
The Lone Eagle Feather series features an eagle feather in each sculpture. The eagle feather is given to a warrior for bravery.
Third in this series, “Distant Drums” depicts a young Indigenous American warrior sitting on a rock by his horse preparing for war has eagle feathers on his spear for bravery.
